Aix les Bains

Claude, one of the female english teachers at the high school, picked me up from the train station in Aix yesterday afternoon. She is an energetic woman who has the cutest british accent when she speaks english. She took me to my new home, an apartement in the center of the town that has a lovely view of the back of another apartment complex. To the right, however, I can see the mountains! Oh crap I only have 5 minutes left at this internet cafe. OK quick. Anyway, my apartment is very....pink...very pink. Curtains, wall paper, fixtures.....it's like a little pink palace. Today I rearranged quite a bit to make it less suffocating. I mean, I love pink and everything, but honestly. The toilet paper too? There is one room with two twin beds, a table, some chairs, and a tv. There is also a tiny kitchen with everything essential for cooking, including a coffee maker (sigh of caffinated relief). I am just not quite sure how to use the shower yet..
